Love Birds

Love Birds was made in July 2022. The base is made from plastic grocery bags. Trees and branches are made from corks. Dirt is dust from cutting the corks. Leaves are tiny spoons. From a box of 3,000 saved from a storage unit dumpster. This being the 2nd project made from the spoons. Birds and nest are made from a rope I found at the river. This is the 12th project I’ve use the rope in. Eggs are beads from a necklace. Pathway is all the small inside pieces from a TV and stereo. I originally was only making the trees with this piece. When all the sudden I got a glimpse of the perfect nesting spot. So happy I added the birds. They turned out way better than I imagined.
