Fishing Pier

Fishing pier was made in July 2022. The base is made from plastic bags. The pier is made from tiny spoon handle. I have a box of 3,000 that was saved from a storage unit dumpster. This is the 3rd project they have been used in. The beach is made from cork dust, from cutting up corks. The fishermen and fish are made from a rope I found at the river. This is the 13th piece I’ve used the rope in. Tree is made from a cork and part of the tiny spoons. Boat is made from a plastic eye and a tiny spoon handle. Filled in with resin.

I love all my work but this one I think is ranking pretty high up there. I love the simplicity it portrays. The relax, beach vibe. I really had a lot of fun piecing this one together.
