Candy Land Cabin

Avavailable

Candy land cabin was made in July 2022. This is my third cabin. It is the smallest one yet. The base is made from plastic grocery bags. The cabin, the leaves, and the birdhouse roof are all made from the tiny spoons. A box of 3,000 saved from a storage unit dumpster. This is the 1st project made from the spoons and I’m really intrigued to see how many come. The tree trunk and branches are corks. I used the tiny pieces inside an old TV and stereo to make the chimney, pathway and the walls of the birdhouse. The grass is made from a rope that I found at the river. This is the 11th project made from that rope.

It’s not named candy land cabin for any specific reason other than it reminds me of a sweet treat.

Which makes it a sweet home. A sweet place to be. Which I’m sure wherever it ends up will be exactly that. With a sweet person who feels like home.
