Mr. Christmas Gnome is a special request of that I was honored to make. He was completed in October of 2021. My soul is happy to be able to spend the holiday season with friends and family alike. He challenged my brain tremendously, but he and I managed to work together and figure out how to make him all that he is. His head is a golf ball I found on the beach of Fort Fisher. The rest of his body is made from metal pieces I’ve found in water ways. His ears and nose are shing weights. His hair and beard are metal scraps a friend saved me from his craft of making light sabers. His washer base is a piece another friend found and brought to contribute. His hat is made from an aluminum can. Mr. Christmas Gnome’s house is made from a plastic bottle that was given to me. The doorway, the windows and chimney are made from metal pieces found. The door and mush - room top are aluminum cans. Topped off with a magnet so that he can stick and be his happy little Christmas self on top of his happy little mushroom house.
