Apple Tree

This happy little apple tree was made in February 2021. The base is a piece of scrap wood. The tree is made out of corks and an aluminum can. The basket is made from corks. Apples are hand sculpted from clay. The dirt is cork dust from cutting the corks. This is the 3rd tree I’ve made. It is also where my mind hit a turning point. This is the piece that showed me that what I was doing was good. But I could still do more and still do better. After this piece is when I started using plastic to sculpt instead of the clay. After this piece is when I started collecting more trash
